Snowy Holiday Decor

Posted December 13, 2016

That snowstorm over the weekend was so beautiful and romantic...as long as you didn't have to leave the house! I love the look of snowy branches at Christmastime, and with a few key items, you can bring that frosted look indoors - without the cold and wet! Here's how:

Start with a lightly flocked tree, like this one available at Pier 1:

Pop in some frosted pinecone tree picks from Pier 1:

And add a few sparkly flakes from, you guessed it, Pier 1:

Part of what I love about the snow is seeing the soft piles lay gently on the houses - like on this adorable sparkly house ornament from Pottery Barn, so add it to your perfectly frosted tree:

The rest of your home could use a layer of snow as well - like this beaded garland from Pier 1 - add it to your mantel, your dining table or even wrap it around that beautiful Christmas tree:

Nestle a sparkly snow globe from Pottery Barn in some fluffy faux snow on a side table or bookcase:

And prop some of the (faux) fluffy white stuff on your couch with these amazing vintage-inspired pillows from Pottery Barn:

Your front porch doesn't want to be left out - frame your door with this LED-lit garland and tree from Pier 1 to welcome your guests to your winter wonderland:

Stay warm and cozy friends - I'm dreaming of a white Christmas - if only indoors this year!
